Reviewers have called Jeremy's voice "exquisite", and I couldn't agree more. In fact, I would say that his voice is Jeremy's best (and sexiest) feature. And he's put it to good use! His most famous use of his vocal talents is, of course, as the voice of Scar in "The Lion King", but there are many other places to relax to the soothing sounds of Jeremy Irons...

  • Narration
  • The "Spaceship Earth" attraction at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center features Jeremy as the narrator, describing the solar system as people tour through the attraction. Visit http://www.intercot.com/edc/SpaceshipEarth/spscript.html for a description of the ride, and downloadable clips from Jeremy's narration!

"The Steadfast Tin Soldier" by Hans Christian Anderson, read by Jeremy, was released on audio and as an animated film in the mid-1980's. The video is still available for purchase on Amazon.com, but the audio recordings from Windham Hill records are out of print.

In December of 1998, Jeremy was selected to be the "Voice of the Millennium" by the advertising agency responsible for promoting Millennium activities in Britain. Jeremy will provide voice-overs for all Millennium-related ads/announcements in the U.K. in 1999.

Also, Jeremy has provided voice-overs for two excellent PBS documentaries:

    The Civil War
    The Great War

I haven't seen The Civil War, but The Great War is a fabulous 8-part series on WWI, and Jeremy provides the voice of English soldier/poet Seigfried Sassoon. Even if you aren't interested in WWI, it's worth a viewing to hear Jeremy read wonderful poetry. Nag your local PBS station to run the series, or check out PBS's Web Site to learn more.
